A welcomed break awaits the Glasgow girls basketball
team. The Scotties will have only one game this weekend
so they will get Saturday off.
Poplar (5-0, 1-0) pays a visit to

sickness that hit the team before Christmas.
“It’s not good as I would have liked to be at this time
of the season,” said Graham. “With all of the sickness we
weren’t able to run it as much. Hopefully going forward
you will see more of it, that’s the plan.”
The Scotties spent the Christmas break working on
getting players healthy and preparing for last weekend’s
games.
The Scotties were busy, losing to Glendive 44-36 and
to 2B rival Malta 50-35.

Codi Nagle paced the Red Devils with 13 points.Siena

Thursday’s opening day had 108 total candidate
filings processed as of 4:30 p.m. Twenty-six candidates
visited the Secretary of State’s Office to file in person.
Senator Becky Beard was the first candidate to file
on Thursday morning, followed by former PSC
Commissioner Brad Johnson who filed his paperwork
to run for U.S. Senate.
