SK RESOLUTION NO. 2023-001

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF REMM DEOSSAH GENERAL DANIEL

AS THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) TREASURER OF BARANGAY BULUANGAN,
GUIMBAL, ILOILO

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 7 of RA 10742, 10742 otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015, as amended by Republic Act 11768, the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson shall appoint
the Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer from among the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, with the
concurrence of the majority of all the Sangguniang Kabataan Members.

WHEREAS the same Republic Act states that “within sixty (60) days from their assumption to office, the SK
shall appoint its Secretary and Treasurer”.

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular 2023-167 dated November 7, 2023, was issued to guide the newly
elected SK Chairpersons and SK members in the performance of their duties and functions pertaining to the
appointment of SK Secretary and SK Treasurer.

WHEREAS Ms. REMM DEOSSAH G. DANIEL is appointed as the Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer
subject for the concurrence of this Body.

WHEREAS Ms. REMM DEOSSAH G. DANIEL possess all the qualifications and none of the
disqualifications to the position as the SK Treasurer of this barangay.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Member Aicha Criz T. Ilagan, duly seconded by SK Member Ashley
Jefferson G. Garpa.

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to pass a RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE

APPOINTMENT OF REMM DEOSSAH DANIEL AS THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK)
TREASURER OF BARANGAY BULUANGAN, GUIMBAL, ILOILO
 RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished all offices concerned.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be given to ARFE MOLANIDA for her file, copy furnish
the DILG Office and Local Youth Development Office for their information and record.
