I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Identify objects attracted by a magnet
b. Draw objects attracted and non-attracted by a magnet

III. LEARNING PROCEDURE
A. ROUTINARY ACTIVITIES
1) Prayer
- The teacher will ask the students to stand up for the prayer.
- The students will stand up and repeat the prayer after the teacher.
2) Greetings
- The teacher will greet the students and ask how do they feel for today.
- The students will greet the teacher and their classmates.
3) Classroom Management
- The teacher will ask the students to pick up the trash, or clean their room, and to
arrange the chairs.

4) Checking of Attendance
- The teacher will call the names of the students to know who are the present and
absent.
- The students will say present if they attended the class.
B. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
1) Drill/Energizer
- The teacher will play the “Science Song” and ask the students to sing it.
- The students will sing the “Science Song”.
2) Review
- The teacher will ask about ask the students about the past lesson.

- The students will raise their hands to answer the question about the past lesson.
3) Motivation
- The teacher will show a video wherein it shows what will happen when objects
are exerted by magnet.
- The students will focus on watching the video.
C. LESSON PROPER
1) Presentation
- Based on the video, the teacher will ask following questions to the students:
1. What do you observed on the video you watched?
2. What are the things that exerted by magnet?
2) Discussion
- The teacher will start to discuss the lesson for today which is Force Exerted by
Magnets.
- The teacher will give examples of the objects that are attracted and not attracted
by magnet.
3) Application
- After the discussion, the teacher will ask the students to identify what are the
objects that are attracted and not attracted by magnet.
- The students will participate by answering the question or simple activity.
4) Generalization
- The teacher will ask the following questions to the students:
1. What is magnetism?
2. What are the objects attracted by magnet?

IV. EVALUATION
- The teacher will ask the students to do the activity.
- The students will do the activity below.
Directions: Draw at least two objects that are attracted by magnet.
