Ask:
1.Based on the song that we sing a while ago,who makes you happy? (The learners will
answer based on their
opinion)
2.What will happen to the water when it’s exposed to sun? -it become hot and
evaporate
3.Who is the reason why it’s become hot or evaporate? -sun

Activity 2
Setting of Standard
1.Read and understand the questions stated in the activity.
2.Cooperate with the group.
3.Follow the direction.
4.Get involved and work accordingly.
5.Housekeeping
Rubrics
1.heater
2.water
3.extension
4.pot holder
5.tarpapel
6.pentel pen
What to do:
1.Transfer the water to the heater
2.Plug in the socket
3.Wait the water until it boils and observe what is coming out from from
the heater
4.Observe the changes of water while boiling.
5.After boiling now let the water cool for at least 2 mins.
6.Open the heater observe where you think these droplets of water came
from.
7.Answer the guide questions that follow and be ready to report your output
in class.
Guide Questions:
What to do:
Guide questions:
1. What are the processes involved in water cycle?
2. Based on the illustration, describe each process.
3. Be able to operationally define water cycle through the processes involved
in water cycle (How do you define water cycle?)
What to do:
1.Arrange the scrambled words below to form the processes in the water
using the meaning as your clue.
2.Write a short paragraph to explain the water cycle shown in the diagram.

1. noitasnednoC
- When water vapor cools into droplets of water and form clouds.
2. Epovationra
- The process that turns water to water vapor
3. taciPrepition
- when clouds form bigger droplets and become heavier, it falls as Rain.
4. Trasniparniot
- the evaporation of water from the leaves of the plants.
5. piResration
-animals and humans give off particles when they perspire.
Guide Questions:
1.What are the processes that involved in the water cycle?
2.What do you think is the role of the sun in the water cycle?
EXPLAIN
1. Presenting of output by group
2. Reporting
3. Scoring of Rubrics
4. Discussion using Diorama of water cycle
(The teacher will play a video clip about the role of sun in the water cycle)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu8X2TP6weU&t=77s
Ask:
*Do you think the water come from many sources? -yes
*What are the bodies of water? Can you give me one? -lake,sea,pond
*What do call to this thing that I’m holding? -diorama of water
cycle
*What are the 3 processes of water cycle?
-evaporation
-condensation
-precipitation
*Where should you place your clothes and beddings after you washed them? -under the heat of sun
*Do you think sun plays a major role in the processes of water cycle? -yes
*What do you think will happen when the sun strike from the bodies of -the water will become
water? hot/evaporate
*What will happen when the sun strike on the plant that has a particles/ water -it will evaporate
drop?
-they’re sweating
*How about the humans and animals ,what did you noticed?

*Where do you think clouds came from? -from the water drops
that evaporate
*Do you think the clouds will form without the first process? Why? -no,because in order to
create clouds in the
atmosphere or sky it
need the evaporation
from the bodies of
water ,sweats from
human and animals .
*What will happen when the water vapor (liquid) inside the clouds become -rain/snow
so heavy?
*Do you think precipitation will work without the two processes? Why?
-no because in order to
rain it needs the
evaporation of water
and formation of
clouds during the
process of
condensation
*Do you think the water cycle will work without the heat of sun? Why? -No, because the sun is
the reason why the
water cycle works.

Generalization
*Do you think the sun is important in the processes of water cycle? -yes
*What is the role of sun in the processes of water cycle? -the sun plays a major
role in the water cycle
because it is the main
source of heat on
earth.
*Who is the most important role in your life? Why? (Students will answer
based on their own
perception.)
(The teacher will ask the pupils to draw and describe one by one the
processes of water cycle).
Remember :
The water cycle is powered by heat energy from the sun
When water at the ocean surface is heated by the sun it gains energy
With enough energy the molecules of liquid Water changes into water vapor
and move into the air.
B. Application
Direction: Copy the moves of tiktok dance about the processes of water
cycle.
(The teacher will play a tiktok dance challenge about the processes of water
cycle)
EVALUATION
Direction: Encircle the letter of the correct answer.
5. d
3. The water cycle works by the _____ from the sun
a. heat c. kinetic b. electrical d. potential
4.After washing your clothes and beddings, where should you place them to
dry fast?
a. I will dry them inside your cabinet c.I will dry them inside the
kitchen.
b. I will dry them insde the cr d.I will dry them under the sun
