Teaching-Learning Modalities under the New Normal

I. RATIONALE

In line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533, or


the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, Training Plan of
Public School teachers. This anchored to the Department of
Education Order No. 12 s. 2020, the Learning Continuity Plan
under the New Normal is geared towards the modification of
teaching and learning procedures for the safety of the learners
and teaching personnel.

The school-Based Learning Action Cell during this pandemic


provides an opportunity for the teachers to adopt curricular
adjustments, alignment of learning materials, and awareness of
multiple learning modalities, create innovative ways of
designing optimal learning experiences and assessing learning
progress integrating the indigenous people in the perspective of
delivering education for all to obtain the standards of equality in
the paradigm.

II. OBJECTIVES

To introduce the adoption of the applicable distance teaching-learning


modalities under the new normal

To orient and train teachers to integrate lessons regarding the appreciation of


Indigenous People cultural practices and values.
