Lesson 10 mins Strategy: Teacher Presentation and Four Corners


Proper Direction: Students in group visit all different station to gather information
about Korea’s music and list all the important information about every topic
LEARN on their music notebook.
Station 1: Five Category of Korean Traditional Music
Station 2: Korean Traditional Instruments
Station 3: Korean Traditional Vocal Music
Station 4: Korean Traditional Background Music
Learning 18 mins Strategy: : Arirang
Activities The class will be divided into six groups. Each group shall perform the song
“Arirang” with their creative arrangement. Listen very carefully to the
accompaniment of the song. Harmonize the song.
PRACTICE
Closure/ 7 mins Strategy: 3-2-1
Synthesis Students write 3 concepts they gained from the discussion, 2 questions they
still want to clarify and 1 value they can relate with the topic.
