material needed to be disposed.
2. Scope
This procedure applies to production employees involved in control and disposal
of waste material from the entire facility.
3. Responsibility
FSTL has the responsibility for directing activities related to this procedure.
Where other functions have responsibility, they are so indicated.
4. Procedure
4.1 Waste disposal bins are placed near the process area, production premises and
storage area, and are positioned conveniently to operating staff.

These bins have clear labeling “Waste Bins” on them.

of waste pending disposal. Waste bottles, caps, seals and other materials are
properly marked as wastes and stored in the waste disposal area.
4.4 Plastic liners are used in waste disposal and storage bins.
4.6 Waste disposal and storage bins are emptied when 85% full or on a regular basis.
4.7 Waste disposal bins are cleaned and sanitized biweekly and placed upside down
and off the floor to drain overnight.
