performed.

8. PROCEDURES

8.1 Inspection:

Inspection of the OD chamfer diameter is performed by measuring the diameter of the OD

chamfer at the intersection of the box face to the same location 180° across. Measure in two
places approximately 90° apart . Average the results.
The formula for obtaining the average is as follows:

Maximum Diameter + Minimum Diameter

8.2 Acceptance / Rejection criteria

OD chamfer diameter is acceptable if the measured diameter is within limits prescribed on the IR.
