VI: RATIONALE

According to( Article X14 Sec.1) the 1987 Philippine Constitution provides that the

state shall protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality education at all levels and

shall take appropriate steps to make education accessible to all.

In line with this, will conduct an activities to provide the guidelines for Gender

Responsive Basic Education to integrate the principle of gender equality gender equity

gender sensitivity, non discrimination and human rights in the provision and governance of

basic education.

VII: OBJECTIVES

This oirientation aims to:

 Strengthen gender and development institutional mechanism

  Mainstream gender in all policies and programs, projects and activities.
