I will be sharing a short story about Daniel’s Pet. Before that let us first unlock
some difficult words.

Story Time:

One day, teacher Karen gave instructions to her pupils to draw


their pets and write the three basic needs of their pets in order to live.
Daniel was very excited to do the task. On the next day, teacher Karen
asks Daniel to present his output in front of the class. This was his output.
Three basic needs of my pet:
 food
 water
 shelter
Very good Daniel! Says teacher Karen.

Answer the following question based on the story.


1) Who are the characters in the story?
2) What was Daniel’s pet?
3) What are the three basic needs of Daniel’s pet in order to live?
4) What are the instructions given by teacher Karen to her pupils? What
was the first instruction? Second?
5) Do you think Daniel was able to follow the instructions given by
teacher Karen? Why?
