out in the offset pegs and under the charge of the Site Supervisor.
6.3.2 The excavated materials are either stockpiled nearby to be reused for backfilling or
disposed offsite by haulage tippers to spoils tips.

a) VCP Pipe (Manhole to Manhole line – outside building)
6.5.1 Due to the constraint of site working, the vcp pipe will lay after l0 meter excavation and
this activity shall be continued until complete the sewer line.
6.5.2 After the excavation until required level, the hardcore will lay and compacted as a sewer
bedding to replace with 20mm aggregate.
6.5.3 The VCP pipe connected to other VCP pipe follow the manufacture specification, using
the rubber ring and the sewer layer will check the gradient of vcp pipe laid use water level to
ensure the VCP pipe have a gradient.
6.5.4 The supervisor will check the Invert level after complete lay 10 meter VCP pipe before the
backfilling work proceed.
6.5.6 Before the backfilling, the hardcore will lay until the top of VCP pipe.
