5 Replacing the Frame Bushing

Upon abnormal shaking or heavy load on motor during crushing, check bushings on wear. In general, the
Frame Bushing should be replaced as soon as 2 mm on one side are worn off: Replace when inner diameter
is bigger than 394 mm or when outer diameter is smaller than 416 mm.

12.5.1 Removing the Frame Bushing

First, remove Top Cell, Mantle Core, Spherical Seat, Eccentric, and Bottom Cover. Build a fixed plane
under the Frame Bushing (1041), put hydraulic jack on the fixed plane, and put round iron block on
hydraulic jack against the Frame Bushing. The force of the hydraulic jack will lift up the Frame Bushing, so
that it will come loose. Install lifting eyes on the Frame Bushing and lift it out of the Main Frame.

Remove hexagonal bolts.

Remove Bushing Stopper (1051).
