the technology. Most students from printed modular modality complains that it
is hard to understand the lesson because they should have the gadget or the
equipment.

In this pandemic there is so many changes in our means or ways of teaching.


Gen. Pantaleon Garcia SHS, uses printed modular and online asynchronous.
In Media and Information Literacy subject was offered in 1 st semester. At first it
doesn’t have a modules or other references. I crafted my own Learning Activity
Sheet, by this approach I can personalized my question according to the

answers because we can or monitor them.

I have developed my own OBS video using different educational


platforms and online apps (documentary/ commercial video, Gmeet, g-

Modern times we can maximize out time by creating a video or


presentation for the learners and they replay when they are available. Internet
connection and gadget is big help for our learners. By this approach they can

Even though we are indifferent places, and we are not allowed to go to


school due to safety reason. We have our own way to conduct meetings. I part
as one of the speaker during the LAC session with the topic Best practices of
TVL teachers during the new normal scenario. During one of the meeting, I
discussed some concerns and challenges about grade 12 -students.

We teachers are also learners in this time of pandemic. New technology


and new approach are introduced to us. By attending those online seminars
conducted, we gain skills and knowledge that our learners will be the

This new portfolio for us teachers especially this time of pandemic give us additional

task. But when our master teachers orientated us about LDM-2. However, I told myself
that I needed to comply as a pro-active teacher. Preparing my LDM-2 portfolio will
definitely take time as it is not a joke doing it moreover, I still need to look for evidence
and fact that sometimes I am no longer able to take evidence like taking a photo. Also
difficult for me in terms of technical aspects because I am not that good at doing

designs and layouts but due to free online templates, I started my own report.
After I finished my LDM portfolio I realized and learned a lot. As a subject teacher and
mentor, I do it only for vocation and passion as a public-school teacher.

By using the technology, we communicate with the parent and guardian


virtually. For parents or guardian who visit the school to submit the modules or
LAS we grab the opportunity to talk to them. And for the student that need a
follow-up, we personally visit them in their house to check and give the
parent/guardian feedback about the learner performance

Communication with the guardians /parents of my students is important in


the academic performance of the students that is the reason why I regularly
talked to them through PTA meeting, home visitation and personal call and
chat.
