From Marama I hope you were all watching 3 News last night, Pukeokahu School was one of the lead stories of the night! Dont worry if you missed, you can go to our school website where I have placed a link to the television report. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for your help yesterday. Your patience and support was invaluable for this successful event. The children and I (especially me) couldnt have managed this without you, all of you. Most of all, I just wanted to say how proud I am of the Pukeokahu School students. They represented themselves, the school, and the wider Pukeokahu Community with pride. Their friendly, precocious, confident manner impressed our visitors; a real testament to what an awesome place Pukeokahu really is. And now Im exhausted, so I promise I will wait a few months, before I hatch another mad scheme for national notoriety, though, I did see this competition the other day ... Photos and Video Please If you have any photos or video from yesterday, could you please bring it up to school. I would like to put it altogether with the kids writing into a proper SnapFish Hardcover Book (I will probably be able to get several copies, which we could sell at cost for you guys too). Pukeokahu Hall Quiz Night - Saturday 18th June Quiz Master Cody, invites you to another fun evening of dubious and obscure knowledge testing at the Pukeokahu Hall at 7pm. Entry is $5 per player (with proceeds going to the Pukeokahu Playgroup), supper is provided and a tab will be running. Could people bring their cheque books so they can pay at the end of the night. This will reduce the amount of time wasted, tracking down overdue tabs. Also there are 4 over due bike ride tabs and 3 over due Quiz night tabs. Could these people pay there tabs ASAP. Me, Micah and Tiana baking up a storm with Richie.
