2. Course description

This is an communicative English elementary course with the aim to help students be
more confident and competent in very familiar situations in daily life. The lessons will
include many fun activities and tasks involving all four skills Listening, Reading, Writing &
Speaking for students to learn English in a more interactive way. Throughout the course
students will take part in several projects and learn by doing these projects. The outcome
level is A2 CEFR.

Theme: Live while we’re young (Travelling)

3. Objectives

CO1: HV nghe hiểu được cả câu/đoạn ngắn nói về những chủ đề rất quen thuộc (ăn, ngủ,
sinh hoạt, etc.), nghe được trọng âm, với điều kiện lời nói từ tốn rõ ràng.
HV hiểu được lời hướng dẫn, giải thích với nhiều cấu trúc câu dài hơn, hiểu một số tiếng
lóng.

CO2: HV có thể giới thiệu, đối thoại về các chủ đề quen thuộc bằng nhiều câu đơn giản
liên kết với nhau, sử dụng tiếng lóng cơ bản và có ngữ điệu, phát âm, mức độ phản xạ
khá tốt với những tình huống quen thuộc.

CO3: HV có thể đọc hiểu ý chính, luận điểm và chứng cứ, nghĩa đen và nghĩa bóng của
các đoạn văn dài hơn, hiểu được một số khía cạnh văn hoá trong đoạn, xác định cấu trúc
và mục đích các thể loại (truyện, nghị luận, báo, tờ rơi, quảng cáo, etc.)

CO4: HV có thể viết một đoạn ngắn bằng nhiều câu sử dụng một số từ vựng học thuật, có
logic rõ ràng, các câu có sự liên kết với nhau, sử dụng đa dạng cấu trúc câu, sử dụng chữ
viết hoa, dấu câu và chính tả một cách khá chính xác, phong phú hơn, sử dụng chữ viết
hoa và dấu câu phù hợp dù còn có thể mắc lỗi.

4. Policy
- Students cannot miss more than 3 lessons
- Students must follow class rules
- Beside class time, students commit to spend at least 15 min/ day to self-study
- Students must submit videos, assignments, projects as required by the teacher
