CONTENT STANDARD W 4.2 Communicate basic information intelligibly for a range of purposes
in print and digital media
LEARNING STANDARD R 3.2 Understand a variety of linear and non-linear print and digital texts
by using appropriate reading strategies.
TYPE OF ASSESSMENT PBD
By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to :
1. Listen to a recording and draw out their imaginary picture on a
piece of paper.
2. Write down a description of their imaginary picture in at least five

SET INDUCTION PRE LESSON

pictures on the wall to guess which one is being described. Pupils do not
read their own descriptions.
POST LESSON
1. Pupils say out what’s the monster’s favourite food is. Teacher
writes some other animals on the board, e.g. dog, cat, elephant, lizard.
2. Pupils say out their ideas of what their favourite foods are.
