‫‪ - 1‬المعدود ‪ countable‬وغير المعدود ‪uncountable‬‬

‫المعدود ‪ : countable‬معدود منتظم ينتهي بـ ‪ s‬الجمع مثل ‪ girls, books, boys‬ومعدود‬

‫غير منتظم ال ينتهي بـ ‪ s‬الجمع مثل ‪men, women, children :‬‬

‫غير المعدود ‪ : uncountable‬ال ينتهي بـ ‪ s‬الجمع‪ ،‬وال يجوز جمعه بـ ‪ s‬الجمع‪.‬‬

‫• تستخدم (‪ )a few / few‬مع االسم المعدود فقط‪.‬‬
‫• بينما تستخدم (‪ )a little / little‬مع االسم غير المعدود فقط‪.‬‬
‫• ‪( Few / little‬تفيد أن العدد أو الكمية قليلة وال تكفي ‪ /‬أو الكمية سلبية)‬
‫• ‪( a few / a little‬تفيد أن العدد أو الكمية قليلة ولكنها تكفي ‪ /‬أو الكمية إيجابية)‬
‫‪1. There is little time left. We can't do the exercise today.‬‬
