Вік: 11-12 років
Мета:
Створити умови для активного і творчого розвитку особистості і
стимулювати інтерес учнів до вивчення англійської мови.
Завдання:
Освітні:
• закріпити лексичний так граматичний матеріал;
• збільшити пасивний словник учнів.
Виховні:
• мотивувати учнів застосовувати отримані знання для вирішення
поставленого завдання;
• формувати в учнів уміння і бажання взаємодіяти в колективі;
• виховувати в учнів відповідальність за доручену справу; самостійність.
Розвиваючі:
• розвивати увагу, мислення і пам'ять.
Умови проведення свята:
Свято проводиться в одному класі. Учні діляться на 4мкоманди по 7-8
чоловік. За підсумками виконання завдань учні отримують «смайлики».
Підрахунок робиться всіма учнями англійською мовою. За кожне виконане
завдання зусиллями команд, учні відкривають по одній літері секретного
слова.
Обладнання та матеріали: картки зі словами, картинки, картки з секретним
повідомленням, смайлики, грамоти.
Хід свята.
Teacher: Good morning! I’m glad to see you!
Today we have a special lesson. We will have fun together. Let’s divide into 4
teams. (Конверт з порами року)
Now we have teams let’s start our competition. For every task the team that wins
will get a smile and one letter of a secret word will be opened.. At the end of our
competition we count smiles. The team that has got more smiles is the winner.
Task1. Put the holidays in the correct order

New Year Day, Christmas, St. Valentine’s Day, Women’s Day, Humour Day,
Easter, Victory Day, St. Nicola’s Day
The winner is the team that will do it the quickest. You have got 1 minute.

One pupil of every team reads it as quickly as it is possible.

Task 4. The cleverest
На дошці прикріплено 5 картинок та 5 слів в хаотичному порядку. Учитель
читає для кожної команди загадку. Учні відгадують за допомогою слів та
картинок на дошці.
T: I ‘l read the riddle for every team. The task for the team is guess what it is and
put the work and picture together. But one pair odd out.
1. What man cannot live in (inside) the house? (a snowman)
2. It is white. It is cold. We can skate on it. (ice)
3. It runs but it has got no legs. (time)
