ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT MENTEE-MENTOR

I have the opportunity to share my skills and expertise in the use of ICT being chosen as a
mentor to Mrs. Aurora Manrique, my mentee. As a mentor, I was patient enough to teach my
mentee considering that she belongs to the previous generation called traditional teachers.

After several sessions, the following are our accomplishments as mentor-mentee tandem.

 I introduced the app called Wakelet to her. I showed to her step by step how to create a
Wakelet account. Mrs. Manrique noted my instructions, the step-by-step process, what to
click, etc. She was very eager to create her own account but tend to forget the correct
process. So, she had to call my assistance over and over again.
 I explained to her the features of Wakelet that can help slow readers in understanding the
lesson.
 With her perseverance, she was able to create her own Wakelet account for her English
Grade 7 and 8 Classes
 She was able to shared images, learning materials, audio text by the use of immerse reader,
links of video lesson.
 She was able to share invites to the grade 7 and 8 students in her Wakelet accounts
 She successfully presented her Wakelet account outputs during our LAC session without my
guidance and assistance.
 Before, she can only manipulate Microsoft word, excel and simple PowerPoint presentation.
 She let me do her ICT-based tasks because of fear she might ruin the outcome of the
presentation. She never hesitated to call my attention whenever she needs my help and
assistance.
 In addition to Microsoft word, Excel and simple Powerpoint presentation, Mrs. Manrique can
now present her lesson using Ispring suite which we both explored. As we were exploring
the Ispring suite, we encountered technical difficulty. Our laptops malfunctioned but we
managed to handle it. Our patience has paid off and we were able to create interactive quiz,
visual presentations, etc. using Ispring suite.
 My mentee, Mrs. Manrique is a step closer to become a teacher in the new millennium with
her additional knowledge and skill in using the ICT. Moreover, she has the confidence to do
it on her own and without my assistance.
