COMPARISON AND REFLECTION

1. COMPARISON

It was interesting to see the difference of creative styles when

it came to this project and our peers' videos were a treat. It was
amazing to see how information about our culture was shown
through the medium of a pop quiz and the collection of quizzes
consisted of facts which gave a wonderful overview about our
culture. The thing about their project which was the most
wonderful was the creativity showcased in it. The idea to take an
existing format and change it into something enjoyable was a
delight to see. Overall the project was thoroughly enjoyable and
very accurate to our culture.

2. Reflection
Rakshaa
I had the pleasure of being the group leader and it was an experience
that was unforgettable. Doing a little bit of everything felt wonderful,
from a bit of voice acting, to directing and writing the script.
However, it was only with the help of my teammates and their
wonderful ideas and creativity that this project reached where it is
today.

The most memorable experience for me would be interacting with our

peers. There is nothing that excites me as much as widening my
horizons and meeting new people, who somewhere along the journey
teach me something I never knew I needed to learn. Along with that,
shooting the project and physically meeting up with my teammates to
do the same was an experience I wouldn’t have imagined I would do.

Lastly, about this project, there would be nothing I would change,

except for the fact that I wished to have more opportunities to
interact with our peers face to face. I couldn’t have imagined a better
way for it to go and overall I am absolutely thrilled with the way it
turned out.

Avantika
Our topic was wildlife and nature and here in our group I had the job
of writing the plot with Raksha, giving suggestions, and a little part of
acting (that was done by everyone). There were of course other
teammates inputs as well. A few scenes in the introduction video were
also shot by me.

According to me the whole EUMIND experience is a great memory for

me but two most memorable experiences of mine was shooting the
introductory video as it was a completely different experience for
me and going around places to record the video clips for the 5
minutes TV program.

Lastly, from my perspective everything went really well and very

smoothly without any much hindrance. I feel everyone in the group was
very cooperative and fun loving. They contributed so well and most
importantly they all had a developed plan on how to do their work with
the available resources providing the best output.
Aarushi
As a part of group 5 for Eumind where our topic is nature and
wildlife, I have contributed to the group work by joining the zoom
meetings to discuss our ideas for the short skit and script. I have
helped write the script and be a part of the filming process of the
short skit by playing the part of the friend of the grandfather and I
have helped the group out whenever asked by any of the members.

The most memorable experience in this journey has been the day our
group shot our film. We all had a lot of fun as well as had a learning
outcome. We worked together to make the production come to life
and cooperated with each other. We got to know each other and I
became friends with people through Eumind which I am incredibly
grateful for. I have learnt how to work in a team and also learnt the
importance of deadlines. I have gained knowledge about the nature and
wildlife of the Netherlands as well as India.

Our group has worked very well with each other and proved that we
work well together. I have enjoyed working hard on the projects given
to us and not being bored because I was not alone in it. If I could
change one thing, I would make sure that we could interact with the
Netherlands group a bit more but our WhatSapp group chat has
greatly helped us talk to them and learn about them.

Arnav
There was so much to learn about nature and wildlife in the
Netherlands. I was spellbound by the beauty and charm that the
Netherlands possesses in abundance. The wide variety of flora and
fauna that we learned about was surprising, as it was such a contrast
to that which we have here at home.
It was an enjoyable process working in a group with my friends on
this piece of production. We had a lot of fun researching, drafting,
and filming. Although we learned a lot about nature and wildlife in the
Netherlands, it would’ve been so much more interesting if we could
have interacted more with our peers, but that became difficult
considering the difference in time zones and schedules.

Nevertheless, our interaction with our fellow peers made the

experience all the more fascinating, and with their excellent inputs and
ideas, we tried to come up with something that closely resembled what
they have over there. They were very forthcoming and cooperative;
they helped resolve any and all queries that we had. I would love to
meet them in person and have more meaningful interactions with them
in the future.

Aayoush
My work delegation for this project was as the editor and also part
time directing and acting and I couldn’t be happier about it. It was a
thoroughly fulfilling experience and I had a lot of fun doing it. It was a
really great avenue to try something I already knew and expand my
knowledge about it

My most memorable experience was probably editing the first video as

it was the first venture of Eumind and that was what began it all. Also,
shooting across locations was a real delight in itself. It felt different
to actually go around and shoot scenes amidst the hustle and bustle of
the city.

Finally, if there was one thing I would do differently it would probably

be that I would spend some more time editing and perfecting the videos
and other than that I won’t wish for it to go any other way. It was
wonderful the way it went and was a lovely experience altogether.
