⭐L&T secures large orders

Larsen & Toubro's Minerals & Metals business has secured two
orders between ₹2,500 to 5,000 crore from the Vedanta Group. It
includes setting up a fertiliser plant for Hindustan Zinc and expanding
the capacity of the Aluminum Smelter Complex at BALCO Korba in
Chattisgarh.

⭐Granules India gets USFDA nod

The pharma company has received the USFDA approval for
Gabapentin tablets. The current annual sales of these tablets is
around $145 million in the US market.

⭐Adani Ent stock zooms

Shares of Adani Enterprises (+6.1%) surged intraday, erasing its
entire previous day’s losses. As per management, the company has
completed full prepayment of margin linked share backed financing
aggregating to $2.1 billion.

⭐Gold shines less

Gold prices dipped (-0.50%) as concerns over the US banking crisis
eased and yields on US Treasury bills increased, reducing the metal's
safe-haven appeal. The rise in yields puts pressure on gold as it
increases the opportunity cost of holding the precious metal since it
does not pay interest.

⭐SEBI extends nomination deadline

SEBI has extended the deadline for adding nomination for trading
and demat account holders to 30 September 2023. The regulator had
earlier asked all eligible account holders to provide a choice of
nomination by March 31, or their accounts would be frozen for
debits.

⭐PNC Infratech wins bid

Shares of the infrastructure company rose nearly 7% intraday. This
comes after the company emerged as the lowest bidder for a
highway project in Uttar Pradesh. The new project is worth ₹819
crore and is set to be executed in 24 months.

⭐Transformers and Rectifiers (India) secures new

order
The manufacturing company’s shares rose after it bagged a ₹184-
crore order from a central utility. The company’s order book as on
date stands at ₹1,555 crore, post this order.

⭐Zydus Lifesciences gets USFDA nod

The pharma company has received USFDA approval for a new
injectable drug, Levothyroxine Sodium. This drug will be
manufactured at the company's Vadodara manufacturing facility.
