INTRODUCTION TO CWTS-1

Civic Welfare and Training Service (CWTS) Component refers to programs or activities
contributory to the general welfare and the betterment of life for the members of the
community and the enhancement of its facilities, especially those devoted to improving health,
education, environment, entrepreneurship, safety, recreation, and morals of the citizenry.
(Sec. 3 para. d, R.A. 9163).

CWTS-1 DIMENSIONS

Leadership and Moral of Citizenry– this area involves development of youth to be good
leaders, responsible individuals imbued with good moral values and active agent of
development of the community.
Health– this area aims to give knowledge on medical – related fields and extend health
services needed in the community. It includes specifically medical services like disaster
management, first-aid operation, vaccination, info-dissemination on health, nutrition,
technical assistance and training of youth to be first aid assistants.
Safety Services – this area includes the knowledge and skills in keeping oneself and
others safe. It helps in increasing the awareness about the possible hazards in the different
areas of living, and be able to make appropriate decision and actions. It helps equip the
trainees the ability to deal with a range of situation. [Safety Education: Guidance for

Environmental Services – this area inculcate environmental awareness and its
contribution to health and related fields. It involves management of waste, environmental
protection, dissemination and application of technologies supportive of the community
needs and livelihood activities related to environment and other related fields supportive of
the national thrusts.
Education – this area involves enhancement of institutional support materials and facilities
for the community and school such as providing materials containing laws, ordinances,
rules and regulations, and extended services of skilled students.
Entrepreneurship/Livelihood – this area includes programs and activities which are vital
in economic growth.
Recreation – this area involves sports, music, games and other worthwhile activities that
enrich youth’s capacities to relate with one another in the community. (Sec. 3, R.A. 9163)

WEEK 1
September 5, 2022

 Our 1st meeting with Mrs. Cristy, Malate in CWTS-1.


 The meeting started exactly at 8:00 in the morning.
 Mrs. Malate discussed the definition of CWTS-1
 We tackled the different dimensions of CWTS-1
 Mrs. Malate assigned everyone to create a logo for subject.
 She also gave a task to memorize the Bernado College Hymn.
 We also tackle the importance of CWTS-1 in Personal Development.
 The importance of NSTP or National Service Training Program to you and to your
community.
 The class ended exactly at 11:00 in the morning

WEEK 2
September 12, 2022

 2nd week of class in CWTS-1 under Mrs. Malate, Cristy.


 The class started exactly at 8:00 in the morning.
 We have discussed the Introduction to Civic Welfare Training Services and it’s
principles.
 Right after the discussion, the permanent groupins for the class is created.
 The members of Group IV are:

- Celis, Angela

 Group meeting is initiated looking for class officers.
 Class officers election started.
 The class officers are:

- Buenvenida, Klyde / Vice President
- Rosano, Jenneth / Secretary
- Tantiado, Jonas / Treasurer
- Centeno, Nico / Auditor
 Distribution of topics that needs to be discussed by group for the next meeting.

September 19, 2022

 The class started doing the given task exactly at 8:00 in the morning.
 Mrs. Malate gave us a Asynchronous Activity
 The alloted time for the task is 3 hours.
 Mrs. Malate assigned everyone to create a presentation about the given topic in
schoology.

WEEK 4
October 10, 2022

 Our first ever Face to Face classes in CWTS-1


 Everyone arrived in school before 8:00 in the morning
 The discussion started at 8:15 am.
 The class shirt is distributed during the class
 We tackled 4 different topics in this meeting
 The class ended exactly at 11:00 in the morning.

WEEK 5
October 17, 2022

 The officers has prepared a Team Building activities for the whole class.
 The class officers arrived at school at 6:30 in the morning
 Preparation of materials for the event
 The Team Building started at 8:00 in the morning
 The events flowed as follow:
- Prayer
- National Anthem
- Ice Breaker
- Games
- Boodle Fight
- Clean-Up
 The groups prepared different dishes to be shared with the class
 The Group 4 was assigned with the Salted Egg and different types of fruits.
 The Class was dismissed at 11:30 in the morning.

October 24, 2022

 The class started at 8:00 in the morning.


 The class is assigned to discuss the remaining topic.
 The Group 4 is assigned to another topic that is needed to be discussed
 The conference ended at 11:00 in the morning

November 14, 2022

 The class was held in Bernardo College.


 The students arrived in school before 8:00 in the morning.
 Mrs. Malate Started a new topic about Self-Esteem
 The discussions lasted for about 120 minutes.
 The discussion ended with a class sharing
 The class dismissed exactly at 11:00 in the Morning

November 21, 2022

 The class was held in the Schoology


 The conference started exactly at 8:00 in the morning.
 The class continued the discussions for the remaining topics.
 We’ve finished all the lessons that was given to us by Mrs. Malate.
 The class ended exactly at 11:00 in the morning.
