A Detailed Lesson Plan

in Teaching Science 3

I. Objectives:
Given a picture to show to the grade 3 pupils should be able to:
a. identify the sources of light;
b. enumerate some uses of light; and
c. appreciate the importance of lights energy in our daily lives.

B. Sub. Topic : Sources and Uses of Energy
C. Concept to be learned : To know the different sources of lights.
D. Reference : Science 3 Book, Chapter 10 Lesson 1, page
200 - 204
E. Materials : Pictures of a boy playing badminton,
studying, traffic lights, lighthouses, and real objects (flashlight, candle, and
kerosene lamp).
F. Science Concept : Realizing the importance of light.
G. Values Integrated : understanding the importance of the sources
of light energy in our daily lives.
