Various Structures with Verbs

การใช้ Do / Does / Did แบบต่าง ๆ

do / does / did เป็นEmphatic verb ได้ ใช้เน้นย้ำ-
ความหมายของ main verb (ผันตาม ประธานและ
do / does / did ใช้เป็น Auxiliary verb ได้ tense)

☺ ผันตามประธานและ tense: ใช้คู่กับ main e.g.  A: You don’t know your duties!
verb (infinitive) ทีไ่ ม่เปลี่ยนรูป
B: I do know what my duties are. (ฉัน
☺ ใช้ใน present simple tense ส่วน did ใน รู้ว่าหน้าที่ของฉันคืออะไร!
past simple tense
 A: Why didn’t you do your homework?
☺ ใช้ในการสร้างประโยคปฏิเสธ/ประโยค
B: I did do it! (ฉันทำแล้วจริง ๆ นะ!)
คำถาม/ตอบคำถามแบบสั้น/question tag

e.g.  A: Does she have a crush on me?

B: Yes, she does!

โครงสร้าง: Verb + object + object complement
 A: Do you know how old she is?

B: No, I don’t.
☺ object complement = ส่วนเติมเต็มกรรม
 A: She doesn’t like rock music, does อาจจะเป็น noun หรือ adjective ก็ได้
she? ☺ verb ที่ใช้โครงสร้างนี้ เช่น make, call, find,
declare, consider, regard, prove
B: No, she doesn’t.

 A:Did she call you last night?

e.g Someone made him uncomfortable.
B: Yes, she did. I didn’t pick up the He calls his dog Barbie.

do / does / did เป็น Main verb ได้ด้วย
We regard her as the best teacher.
ใช้กับการกระทำที่รู้อยู่แล้วว่าทำอย่างไร
(ผันตามประธานและ tense) ตามด้วยนาม

e.g.  We always do our homework.

 She did her hair. She didn’t do the
dishes.
 I am doing a business.
 Verbs of perception Verbs of perception:

• ใช้กับ v. infinitive ถ้ารับรู้ตั้งแต่ต้นจบจบ

☺ คือ คำกริยาทีเ่ กี่ยวกับประสาทสัมผัส/ความรู้สึก เช่น
watch, see, hear, look at, feel
☺ โครงสร้าง:
Verb of perception + object + v.infinitive / v.-ing
e.g We saw him cross the road.
• ใช้กับ v.-ing ถ้ารับรู้แค่ช่วงหนึ่งของเหตุการณ์
/ เห็นตอนกำลังทำ

e.g I heard her singing when I was

passing her room. (ได้ยินแค่
บางส่วนของเพลง)

Causative Verbs

☺ โครงสร้าง: Verb + object + v.infinitive / to +

v.infinitive / v.3

• make, let, have, help + someone/something + v.

e.g They made/had me do the dishes.

• get, allow, ask + someone/something + to +

v.infinitive
e.g We allow you to take the dog inside.

• have, get + someone/something + v.3

e.g Tom had his car fixed.
