CÂU ĐIỀU KIỆN

I. LÝ THUYẾT:
1. Câu điều kiện loại 1: (Điều kiện có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai)

If + S + V (s/es), S + will/may/can + V (bare)

Sử dụng câu điều kiện loại 1 để đặt ra một điều kiện có thể thực hiện được trong hiện tại và
nêu kết quả có thể xảy ra.

2. Câu điều kiện loại 2: (Điều kiện không có thật ở hiện tại)

If + S + V (2/ed), S + would/could/should + V (bare)

Sử dụng câu điều kiện loại 2 để đặt ra một điều kiện không thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương
lai, điều kiện chỉ là một giả thiết, một ước muốn trái ngược với thực trạng hiện tại.

3. Chuyển từ if sang unless:

 Đối với IF câu khẳng định => Unless khẳng định (động từ ở mệnh đề chính sẽ được
chuyển sang phủ định).
 Đối với IF câu phủ định => Unless khẳng định (mệnh đề chính sẽ không có sự thay
đổi).
