These are the basic features of our engineering strategy.

SK:

이 사항들이 우리 엔지니어링 전략의 기본입니다.

 Particularly, we will stick to the client specifications and concentrate our

efforts on the optimization of maintenance and operation.

특히, 발주처 스펙에 잘 따를 것이며, Maintenance 와 Operation 을 최적화하는데

힘을 기울일 것입니다.

Key application points for this project will be knowledge-oriented engineering

and engineering harmonization between the consortium partners.

지식 중심의 엔지니어링과 공동도급사 간의 조화가 본 프로젝트의 Key Application 이

될 것입니다.

We, SKEC, have a great deal of experience in aromatics.

우리 SK 건설은 Aromatics 경험이 많습니다.

From those experiences, we have established a well-controlled engineering

database of lessons learned.

이 경험들로부터, 우리는 잘 통제된 엔지니어링 Lessons Learned 데이터베이스를

구축하였습니다.

We will actually show you the details of the database after this presentation.

이 프리젠테이션이 끝나면 데이터베이스를 상세하게 보여드리겠습니다.

Another strength of us is good understanding of business practices and

process characteristics of our main vendor, GHI.

우리의 또 한가지 장점은 우리의 Main Vendor 인 GHI 사의 프로세스 특성과 사업

특성을 잘 이해하고 있다는 것입니다.

Harmonized efforts between the two consortium partners are equally

important for the success of this project.

두 공동도급사 간의 조화된 노력도 본 프로젝트의 성공을 위해서 똑같이 중요합니다.

We are going to secure the engineering harmonization through joint design

verification and crosschecking.

Crosscheck 과 공동 Design Verification 를 통해서 Engineering Harmonization 을

이루어 갈 것입니다.

It is very ambitious, but at the same time, very challenging.

그것은 매우 야심 차지만, 동시에 매우 어려운 일이기도 합니다.

 We classified our engineering products into these 3 categories.
SK:

우리 Engineering Product 들을 이 3 가지 카테고리로 분류하였습니다.

Common Documents are the ones that will be used by both ABC and SKEC.

Common Document 들을 ABC 와 SK 가 공히 사용할 서류들입니다.

SKEC will assist ABC in producing the documents by reviewing them and

enhancing necessary information.

SK 는 그 Document 들을 만드는 과정에서 그것을 검토하고 필요한 정보를

 보완함으로써 ABC 사를 도와줄 것입니다.

For Documents produced through the joint activities, such as Plot Plan and

3D Modeling, we will maintain the ownership of the documents for defined

units and hand them over to ABC at the end of the project.

Plot Plan 이나 3D Modeling 과 같이 상호협력 하에 만들어지는 Document 들은,

Defined Unit 들에 대해서 Ownership 을 유지하다가 프로젝트가 종료될 때 ABC 사에

넘겨줄 것입니다.

All other documents that we produce during the project will be owned by

SKEC even after the completion.

프로젝트 기간동안 만들어진 다른 모든 Document 들은 프로젝트 종료 후에도 SKEC

가 계속 가지게 될 것입니다.

I think you have to define a clear leader-follower relationship for each item in
PMC:
order to prevent the vendors from receiving two different sets of comments.

Vendor 들이 서로 다른 두개의 Comment 를 받지 않도록 하기 위해서 각 Item 에 대해

 leader-follower 관계를 명확히 정의해 둘 필요가 있을 것 같습니다.

We have already defined such relationships for each and every piece of
SK:
equipment.

이미 각각의 Equipment 에 대해서 그런 관계를 정의하였습니다.

So there will be no such confusion.

따라서 그런 혼선은 빚어지지 않을 것입니다.

 We will concentrate our efforts on the basic engineering design for the first 5

to 6 months.

처음 5, 6 개월 동안은 Basic Engineering 에 집중할 것입니다.

In this period, we will lay the foundations of engineering cooperation.

이 기간동안에는 엔지니어링 협력의 기초를 닦을 것입니다.

We will finalize engineering procedures and plans, establish common project

specifications, and build teams to derive common design concepts.

우리는 Engineering Procedure 와 Plan 을 완성하고 공통의 프로젝트 Spec.을

수립하며, 공통의 Design 개념을 이끌어내기 위한 팀들을 구성할 것입니다.

After the basic engineering period, detail design works will follow.

Basic Engineering 기간이 지나면, Detail Engineering 작업이 뒤따를 것입니다.

It will also take about 5 to 6 months.

그것도 역시 약 5, 6 개월 정도 걸릴 것입니다.

For both periods, we will dispatch our engineers to the ABC’s office to

facilitate the engineering cooperation.

두 기간(Basic and Detailed Engineering Periods)동안 엔지니어링 협력을 원활히

하기 위해서 ABC 사의 사무실에 우리 엔지니어들을 파견할 것입니다.

SKA consortium also recommends PMT to mobilize a team of engineers to

supervise our engineering activities.

또 SKA 컨소시엄은 PMT 에게 엔지니어로 팀을 구성해서 우리의 엔지니어링 활동을

 Supervise 해 주실 것을 추천하는 바입니다.

It will greatly save our time.

그것이 우리 시간을 많이 아껴줄 것입니다.
