At the end of a 45-minute session, pupils are expected to:

b. value the importance of the needs of animals;
c. show cooperation through activities

II. Lesson Proper

A. Activity
“Now, let's start our lesson with an activity. In this activity, “Okay teacher”
I am going to show you a picture and you are going to
identify its name by picking it inside the box”

These are the following pictures:

“It’s a water teacher”

“It’s a house teacher”

“It’s air teacher”


B. Analysis
“Very good! You’re able to identify the pictures.”

C. Abstraction
“Very good! All your answers are correct class.”
“The food is important because it gives energy to the
animals and helps them grow” (Students will listen)
“The water helps the animals become hydrated and it also
refreshes them”
“The air help animals to breathe”
“The shelter protect them from different weather and other
bad animals”

D. Application
Group Activity:

“Okay I am going to divide you into three groups, and each


group will be given a picture. Then in your group, choose 1 “Okay teacher”
representative to explain the picture assigned”

Group 1:

“This is a stray dog. This dog doesn’t have food,


water, and shelter that’s why it is thin and dirty”
Group 2:

“This is a healthy, clean, and happy dog because


the owner loves and take good care and provide
its needs.”

Group 3:

“This is a sad, unhealthy, and homeless cat


because the owner abandoned it”

IV. EVALUATION

Directions: Connect the animals in column A to the food they eat in the column B.
