CHICKEN POT ROAST

INGREDIENTS
1kg chicken pieces
1 onion sliced
2tsp garlic and ginger paste
1cinnamon stick
1tsp chilli powder
tsp turmeric powder
Few sprigs of thyme
2tsp mixed herbs
Salt to taste

METHOD
1. Heat oil in a non stick pan and fry onions until light
brown.
2. Add cinnamon stick garlic ginger paste,thyme,chilli and
turmeric powder mixed herbs and fry for 1 minute.
3. Place chicken pieces in pan and cook over low heat
covered .
4. As the water released from chicken dries up allow to fry
turning occasionally.
5. Once chicken is browned remove from heat.
