PROGRESS REPORT

SUNIGA, Loredolyn T.
Period: 1st to 2nd week
June 17, 2019 to June 29, 2019

On June 10, 2019, I, together with my classmates, went to the CPG office
located on Antipolo to have a meeting with Engr. Garcia regarding on the projects
assigned to us. On June 17, 2019, we arrived in Bohol and went to their engineering
office to report and meet the assigned architect on the project. We travelled to the
project site which is Barangay Tugas located in Isla de Pitogo the day after. As soon
as we arrived, we went to the land owners and retrieved the technical descriptions of
their lots including the cadastral map. Some lots had no technical description and
the map was unclear and incomplete so we went to their municipal office to ask for a
copy of cadastral map including the technical descriptions of some lots of Barangay
Tugas however only the cadastral map was provided. We travelled to the DENR
regional office located at Talibon and requested for the technical descriptions as well
as the cadastral map that covers the assigned lots we are going to survey. We went
back to Tugas and had a short discussion with Engr. Garcia regarding the project.
Then, we went back to Tagbilaran and reported in their office. We plotted the
gathered technical descriptions data from DENR on the AutoCad and found some
problematic lots since they were not consistent on the plot in the cadastral map. We
went back to the project site and tried to retrieve mohon based on the technical
descriptions given but failed since the area was not yet completely cleared and had
undergone environmental changes. We tried to retrieve mohon again after the
instruments arrived on June 26, 2019 with the help of the locals and the foreman
assigned in the project area. We found a mohon but it was not plotted on the
cadastral map. Since we did not found mohon on the project lot, we decided to
survey another lot in the Barrio located on the seaside and retrieved one mohon on
that area. The mohon was used to locate the other corners of the lot and found out
that some mohon were already constructed with built-ups. We also found out that
the constructed fence was not inconsistent with the boundaries of their lot. We went
back to Tagbilaran to further process the data from the relocation survey and convert
the coordinates from the technical descriptions to UTM since the corners were
based on Luzon 1911 datum to plot on google earth and used it on retrieving other
mohon.
