1l 다음은 무엇에 관한 설명인가?
문단을 교사가 2-3번 정상속도로 읽어 준다. 그리고 교사는 학습자에게 생각나는 대로 다시 문단을 쓰라고 한다.
이때 키워드나 큐가 되는 문장을 자료로 나누어 줄 수도 있다.

5 How to teach Grammar 관련 issues
Explicit – noticing, input enhancement – Implicit
• 연역적(deductive) explicit presentation
: 수업 시작하며 규칙을 먼저 제시
• 귀납적(inductive) explicit presentation: input enhancement
혹은 consciousness-raising 기법을 통하여 규칙에 대하여 다양한 용례를
제시하고 규칙 설명
• noticing: 학습 중 주목한 특정 입력에 대하여 집중하는 과정
• Abductive learning(귀추법 by C. Peirce): 가장 잘 설명할 것 같은 문법적
규칙을 가정하는 방법, 즉 주어진 예시문들에 근거하여 가장 그럴듯한 혹은
최선의 설명을 하여주는 문법 규칙을 가정하고 학습 후 확인 함
5 How to teach Grammar 관련 issues

• 학생들 사이에서 일어나는 다양한 인지주의적 문체(문법)

analytical learners가 holistic learners보다 수월)
• 예외규칙에 안 질리게
• 교사가 모를 경우 거짓 정보를 제공 피한다(다음 날 다시
알려주겠다고 하는 것이 낫다)
5 How to teach Grammar 관련 issues
특정 ‘문법시간’에 문법을 가르쳐야 하는가?
• 일반적 언어과정에 포함시켜
가르치는 것이 효과
• 따로 떼어도 효과 있는 경우 있음

Informal contexts often make fewer demands on a learner’ grammatical accuracy.
In casual conversation among peers, for example, minor error are acceptable,
while more formal contexts usually require greater grammatical accuracy.
Similarly, in writing, tolerance for error is higher in, say, a quick e-mailed message
than in a formal essay.

Multiple Intelligences
Gardner originally identified seven intelligences and
then in 1999 he identified an eighth. The eight
intelligences are:
1. Musical Intelligence
2. Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence
3. Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
4. Linguistic Intelligence
5. Spatial Intelligence
6. Interpersonal Intelligence
7. Intrapersonal Intelligence
8. Naturalist Intelligence

Multiple Intelligences
The theory of multiple intelligence is not a method,
so there isn’t any direct principle to guide your
teaching; however, one can infer the following:
Help learners discover their abilities and identify
their strengths and weaknesses
Provide unforgettable learning experiences by
providing learners with a variety of activities and
task. Variety, after all, is the spice of life. Since
every learner has multiple spheres of mental
activity, teachers we should use a wide variety of
task and activity types that engage the whole
spectrum of intelligences.
Multiple Intelligences
The main criticism of the theory of multiple
intelligences as it applies to education is that it is
hard to assess all seven or eight intelligences. For
example, Gardner sees each intelligence as acting
within a specific cultural domain, so to assess body-
kinesthetic intelligence one would need to know the
cultural products that are fashioned or problems
that are solved using that intelligence.
Multiple Intelligences
Most criticism of the theory of multiple intelligence
has more to do with concepts of the mind,
philosophy, and psychology and are not relevant for
language teachers.
