ARALIN 1. Mga Simbolo sa Mapa

Takdang Panahon: 1-3 araw

I. Layunin:

1. Naiisa-isa ang mga simbolo na ginagamit sa mapa.


2. Nabibigyang kahulugan ang mga simbolo na ginagamit sa mapa sa tulong ng mga
panuntunan.
3. Nasasabi ang kahalagahan ng bawat simbolo na ginagamit sa mapa.

Paksa: Simbolo sa Mapa


Kagamitan: mapa ng sariling lalawigan, papel, bond paper, yarn, paste o glue,
manila paper, panulat
Sanggunian: Modyul 1, Aralin 1.1

III. Pamamaraan:

A. Panimula:
1. Magpalaro ng “scavenger’s hunt” gamit ang isang simpleng mapa. Sa larong ito,
maghanda ng 4-5 simplemeng mapa ng silid aralan kagaya ng nasa ibaba.
Maglagay ng mga kendi sa iba’t
ibang sulok ng silid at markahan ito sa mga mapang ginawa. Ibaibahin ang mga
marka sa mga mapa sa bawat pangkat upang hindi magkagulo ang klase.
Siguraduhin pareho ang bilang ng marka sa bawat mapa. Ang pangkat na may
pinakamaraming kending nakuha ang siyang panalo.

“All right before we move on to our next


topic, let’s have a recap on what we’ve been

water is being describe in the picture)

“Now, I will show you pictures of the sources


of water and you have to tell me what source
it is. Just raise your hands if you want to
answer. Is that clear?

“I will not give any word clues, but I have here


five pictures that will serve as your clue. Look “Yes, Ma’am”
closely on the picture because you need to find
the words that are related to the given picture
and tell me what are those words”

“Okay, let’s start the game, just raise your


hands if you want to answer”

“Yes, that’s right the color blue on the globe
represents the water part of the earth. That is (the pupils will raise their hands)

why life is very abundant on earth. Thus, we
can’t live without water. All life on earth needs
water to survive. “Ma’am it represents the water part of the earth”

“We have six categories of uses of water”


1. Household – for our daily bathing, brushing
our teeth, washing our clothes, to cook food
etc.
2. Community - for firefighting, street
cleaning, and watering public areas such as
parks, grass, trees, shrubs, and flowers.
(Pupils are listening attentively)
3. Farming - all the animals in a farmyard
need drinking water to stay alive. is also
required in the cooling systems used to
keep the production of meat fresh.
Vegetable and grain crops also require
water.

4. Generate electricity - Hydroelectric


plants capture the kinetic energy of falling
water to make electricity and are the largest
users of water.

5. Industry - Water is also essential in


industry, as it is heated and the steam is
used to run machinery. Water is used to
cool hot metal such as in the production of
steel.

6. Recreational activity and transportation -


Many people enjoy fishing, boating, sailing,
canoeing, rafting, and swimming, as well as
many other recreational activities that
depend on water.

2. Use the old magazines and cut-out pictures
that show how we use water every day.
3. Brainstorm with the group how will your
output look like.
4. Paste them on the manila paper or cartolina.
5. Post it on the board.
6. Be ready to present it to the class.

Group 3 –Poem

Objective: Write a short poem on the uses of water in


our daily activities .
What to do:
1. Assign one member to read the information
card aloud;
2. Together with the group, make a draft of your
poem.
3. Finalize it and write it on the manila paper.
4. Post it on the board.

Group 4 – Rap
