Factors Determining The Approaches For Harmonization of Folklore Song Material in School
ABSTRACT: The article discusses some of the most important factors influencing the process of
harmonization of folk songs in music textbooks from first to seventh grade in view of the possibilities for
compiling instrumental accompaniment. The main question is related to the peculiarities of the structure of the
scales (music mode) of folk songs and the resulting directions of harmonization - whether this process should be
carried out through the modal system or through the means of the tonal system.
