Greetings of peace and prosperity!

I am writing to request permission to conduct a three-day training on Gender and Development on May 29
– June 5, 2023 at President Manuel A. Roxas Memorial School North – Covered Gym, for our teachers.
The Training will start every afternoon at around 1:00PM until 4:00PM.
We believe that this training is crucial in promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment that
addresses the mental health needs of our students. Mental health concerns are prevalent among students,
and teachers play a vital role in identifying and addressing these concerns. And also the application on
Gender sensitivity is very important because it promotes respect for diversity and helps to eliminate
discrimination, harassment, and violence in schools. This training will enable our teachers to recognize and
address gender biases and stereotypes that may affect the learning and well-being of our students.

Attached herewith are the training design and matrix of the activities to justify holding of
such training.
