PRE-ACTIVITY
A. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
Instruct the class to arrange their chairs properly and observe house rules at all times.

Say: Welcome everybody to this special session on psychosocial session, where we will be addressing
psychosocial support in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Say: This session will touch on a variety of personal challenges that some of you may have experienced
due to COVID-19.
LESSON PROPER

The teacher will present the topic and the learning objective.
A. ACTIVITY
1. Instruct the class to discuss in pairs, what do we mean by psychosocial support? It is okay if they do not
know the concept of psychosocial support, just let them think of any ideas, there are no right or wrong
answers.
B. ANALYSIS
Ask learners of their understanding after their discussion with their seatmates. There are no right or wrong
answers. Lead their answers to supporting mental health, taking care of well-being, managing stress and
anxiety.
C. ABSTRACTION
D. APPLICATION
Let the class watch a short video on psychosocial support. As you watch, let them think why psychosocial
health is an important part of our overall health.
After the video, ask the learners to share their ideas with the class.
EVALUATION
Which of the following common challenges may have occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Choose as
many which applies and write a short essay on how you dealt with challenge.
