for students who are coping to numerical gaps.

the benefit of the students in promoting Reading
and Numeracy for a Globally Competitive citizens.

(Reading and Numeracy for Globally Competitive Sisimanians)

As part of the DepEd Memorandum No. 173, s.2019, HAMON: BAWAT BATA,
BUMABASA, there are programs intended for bridging learning gaps. These
activities shall focus on addressing the challenges and learning resource gaps of
learners for face to face classes, which shall be fully implemented in all public
schools nationwide by November 2 ,2022. This will ensure that quality basic
education will continue despite the challenges posed by COVID-l9 endemic phase.
Detailed implementation arrangement is provided in Enclosure No. I of this
Memorandum.

Mariveles National High School initiated the program for reading and
numeracy promotion also known as, RAN for GLOCS Project, (Reading and
Numeracy for Globally Competitive Sisimanians). The program aimed to promote and
sustain the learning of MNHS-Sisiman students when it comes to reading and
numeracy skills. The said program also encourage the development of the micro
skills of the learners.

The program started on August 15, 2022 and will run throughout the school
year. All stakeholders were actively participated and the resources are fully
maximized for the achievement of the program. It was indeed a success.
