Developing Awareness and Understanding of Faculty Members and


Administrative Staff on Maintaining GAD and Related Concerns

September 3-4, 2018

OBJECTIVES:
1. To increase the level of awareness and understanding of students on GAD concepts, issues and
concerns and laws on women; and
2. Educate students about the GAD issues and concerns.

Day 1: September 3, 2018 (Monday)

AM Session:

Ang seminar ay dinaos sa Library ng Calatrva National High School. The opening program was hosted by
Mr. Alphie Victoriano, MAPEH teacher, na may 61 participants of the Calatrava National High School. The
participants were presented by Mr. Keyam Niel B. Race, a GAD Coordinator and Mrs. Glaiza M. Fodra, GAD Co-
coordinator, the Training Managers. Mrs. Jerelyn Mazo, Filipino Teacher , gave opening prayer at sinundan ni Mrs.
MOnaliza Gregorio, Filipino Teacher, para sa pambansang awit ng Pilipinas. Mrs. Hedelyn F. Ferriol, the School
Head gave the words of welcome remarks. Ms. Noime Grace M. Mortel, the resource speaker, Mathematics
Teacher of Calatrava National High School, delivered the message.

The afternoon session was spent with respective cluster groups. Cluster G (General Biology 1, General
Biology 2, General Chemistry 1, Practical Research 2, Inquiries, Investigations, and Immersion, and
Entrepreneurship) was spearheaded by Mrs. Mischelle Puntod and Mr. Leonard Dipasupil. There was an
introduction of the speakers as well as the participants. Majority of the afternoon session was spent in making DLL
in General Biology 1.

The opening program was hosted by Mr. Freddie Montero, with 278 participants from the MIMAROPA
region. The participants were presented by Ms. Nazaria Adaya, a trainer from the Division of Marinduque while
Ms. Elizabeth Delas Alas, the Training Manager and the EPS-LRMDS Manager from the Division of Occidental
Mindoro, gave the words of welcome and the orientation proper. Mr. Roger Falcutila, the Regional Supervisor for
Filipino, delivered the message.
