Pia katika mfumo huu zana zilikuwa duni sana kwa sababau zilitengenezwa kwa mawe na miti.
Hii ilisababisha kuwepo kwa uzalishaji mdogo. Katika mfumo huu hapakuwa na biashara wala
kubadilishana bidhaa baina ya watu katika jamii kwa sababu hakukuwa na ziada wakati wa
kuzalisha.
Uongozi ulikuwa mikononi mwa rika ambapo muundo wa majukumu katika jamii ulifanana na
hapakuwa na unyonyaji wala ukandamizaji miongoni mwa watu. Jamii ambazo ziliishi katika
ujima ni wasandawe, wahadzabe na watindiga kutoka jamii za kitanzania.
