piece pictures to its name. After that, they will
identify what is the movement of that piece.

C. Abstraction Today we are going to discuss an indoor

activity which is chess.

Chess
Chess is a board game played between two
players that simulates a war between two
kingdoms.

History of scrabble
- Chess was born out of the Indian game
chaturanga before the 600s AD. The game
spread throughout Asia and Europe over the
coming centuries, and eventually evolved into what
we know as chess around the 16th century.

Game instruction
1. The player with the white pieces makes the
first move
2. Each player takes turns making one move at
a time
3. Every Chess piece moves in a unique way
4. Rules of Checkmate and Draw
 Chess Piece Movement
1. The King moves from its square to a
neighboring square,
2. the Rook can move in its line or row,
3. the Bishop moves diagonally,
4. the Queen may move like a Rook or a
Bishop,
5. the Knight jumps in making the shortest
move that is not a straight one, and
6. the Pawn moves one square straight
ahead.
