Title:

IMPACT OF MODULAR LEARNING

AMIDST COVID-19 PANDEMIC TO
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
INTRODUCTION
The COVID - 19 Pandemic has been spread across the globe
and had a major effect on the entire world, especially on
education. One considered solution for this issue is the
Modular and Online Distance Learning.
Slide 3

• Findings revealed that student's general comprehension differed significantly

between modular and typical learning styles. This learning technique obtains the
use of self-learning modules based on the learning qualities provided by the
Department of Education.
Slide 3

• Based on our findings, not all students agree that modular distance learning is an effective
learning process even if they learn at their own pace and comfort with this approach.
NOW, WE WILL BE DISCUSSING ABOUT OUR RESEARCH'S:

• Materials and Methods

• Results

• Implications and Conclusion

MATERIALS AND METHOD

• This study will employ both experimental and quantitative

research methods. Data will be gathered in a systematic
manner using larger samples that are representative of
the entire population.
MATERIALS
• QUETIONNAIRES that are provided by the
researchers
• BALLPEN and BOND PAPERS that were purchased
from Shoe Mart Rosales, Pangasinan.
• PRINTER from one of our group members; and
• GRADE-12 STEM STUDENTS ages that ranges
between seventeen (17) to nineteen (19)
enrolled in Eastern Pangasinan Agricultural
College.
METHOD
• The researcher will be using a survey
questionnaire as a method to gather
data.

• Survey questionnaires will be used to

collect data from the Grade 12 STEM
enrolled in Eastern Pangasinan
Agricultural College.
RESULTS
1. Modular Distance Learning is not
considered to be an effective way of
student's learning and development.

-Despite being a good candidate for an

alternative way of learning, many students
still can't keep up with the use of modular
approach.
2. Modular Distance Learning is an ideal
way to follow social distancing protocol.

-This helps us to stay away from crowded

places to prevent the widespread of the
virus. This also gives us chance to keep up
with our family at home.
3. The most substantial issue of distance learning involves

the inadequacy of devices such as cellphones, laptop, and

Internet connection to students.

-These shortcomings could not be a good assess in the

development of student's intellect, values, discipline, hard

work and perseverance.

IMPLICATIONS &
CONCLUSION

Higher Education can teach students the

ability to plan and organize. Modular
learning gained an average score than
traditional approach for it's flexible
system
It is much easier to implement for both the

teacher and student's side, the only

downside is that there will be no proper

guidance of a professional teacher to guide

students throughout their modules.

Modular learning is the easiest way to
continue studying amidst the pandemic that
we are facing, for it is the safest and
most efficient way of studying based on our
current world health crisis
