SUCCESS CRITERIA Students know how to look for different information in the different sections found in the Traffic Light x
newspaper.
ACTIVITIES 1.Students to form a group of 7 people and given a newspaper to each group. PETA PEMIKIRAN (I-THINK)
2. Students will be given some information or clues taken from the newspaper, for Peta Bulatan
example, victory, stock exchange, blockbuster and etc. Peta Buih
3. Students need to: search the information to find out which section it belongs to. and Peta Buih Berganda
run to the front to show the teacher the information he or she had found as fast as Peta Pokok

4. Students will be given 5 minutes to flip through the newspaper before the game starts. Peta Alir
5. Students are reminded that teamwork is very important in playing the game.

6.Teacher will write out questions on the board, such as: What do you think of the

information and the section?
7. Students need to discuss the answers within group members and present the results in KEMAHIRAN BERFIKIR ARAS

ACTIVITIES 1)Students are divided into four groups (11/12 members).

2) Each group of students is required to write down 6 different questions.
3) Students are asked to draw lots for deciding the 4 students (each per group) as the
“Performer” of their group. PETA PEMIKIRAN (I-THINK)
4)The performer from the 1stgroup is asked to pick one of the questions set by the Peta Bulatan
students. Peta Buih
5)That particular student decides whether he or she should be telling the truth or lie Peta Buih Berganda
based on own experience with the question he or she picked as the student must answer Peta Pokok
“Yes, I have.” for that particular question chosen. Peta Dakap x
6)Facilitator reads out loud the question chosen and the student must answer “Yes, I Peta Alir

7)Students from other groups are given chance to question the Performer one by one

(everyone has chance), as the members same group with the performer are forbited to
ask questions.
9) Students from other group have to guess whether that particular student is telling the KEMAHIRAN BERFIKIR ARAS
truth or lying through the information gave by the students during the questioning TINGGI (KBAT)
