Comments: Jawaher was ready for her lesson. She was welcoming and enthusiastic.

Planning for Learning B


Comments:
Jawaher purpose in this lesson was to help students identify rounding to the nearest tens.
She set the stage to her lesson by welcoming the students and she used an effective video.
She elicited and used guided questions throughout the lesson and was continually available to
students.
Managing Learning A
Comments:
Jawaher used a PPT to explain the important concepts of her lesson. She did not simply run the
video, but she tried to pause and explain when needed step-by-step.
The lesson was broken logically into stages and the planning was accurate in terms of timing and
content.
She monitored the activities effectively.
Time limits were quite challenging but the students responded well to the challenge.
Implementing Learning A
Jawaher used real life examples to help students understand and grasp the needed skills.
Wonderful organisation! It was like going on an adventure from one activity to another. Evidence
for differentiation was clear and suited various abilities.

Assessment A
Jawaher used various techniques to assess and monitor how well her students learned, and provided
continuous feedback to correct misconceptions.
