HUNT THE HINT

About the event:-

Martech ABBS organised an event that is “HUNT THE HINT”.

This event was attended by our respected director sir Dr. H.R Venkatesha,
Dr. Arul Senthil sir and by the first year MBA students.
Firstly, our director sir graced the event with his presence and addressed the gathering with
his inspiring words. We then started with the event
“HUNT THE HINT”, this event consisted of two rounds testing the participants thinking
ability and time management skills. There were ten teams consisting of two members in each
team, two battles and one winner at the end of two rounds.

Round 1 – WORD SLAM

There were ten teams and each team will have two question in first round. There will be
jumbled letter and they have to make it a appropriate word. Each team will have 50 brownie
points with them 10 points will be deducted for every wrong answer. The participates were
given 30 seconds to answer the question. All the teams were qualified for the 2nd round.
After the first round we had a break for 10 minutes and during the break we had conducted a
fun activity to refresh the minds of the participants. The emoji game was conducted,
participants had to guess the movie, song, or book name by looking at the emoji given. The
participants enjoyed the break time with the emoji event.

Round 2:- TWO TRUTH & ONE LIE

In round two the participants had one question for each team. Each question had three
statements about a particular product or a business person in which two statements were truth
and one statement was false. Participants had to guess which statement is false. Participants
had 1 minute 30 seconds and 20 points were deducted for the wrong answer. The score
keeper maintained the score and the time. At last the teams which had highest points out of
50 was considered as a winner of the event “HUNT THE HINT”.

Challenges:
The club faced quite a few challenges while organising the event, since it was a online event
we faced a network issue from the side of the participants, turning on the video was made
compulsory for the participants but they could not turn on the video due to network issue but
we managed by considering their problem. We also faced problem from the network issue
from score keeper side but we kept one backup for the scorekeeper and the issue was solved.
However all the issue was solved and we conducted the event successfully with the help of
seniors and all the junior co-ordinates of Martech ABBS.
