Bago natin talakayin ang mga fraction na katumbas ng isa o higit sa isa,
mahalagang malaman muna natin ang ibig sabihin ng mga salitang ito:
Numerator – ito ang bilang sa itaas ng linya sa isang fraction. Sinasabi nito
kung ilang parte ang kinuha mula sa denominator.
Denominator – ito naman ang bilang na nasa ibaba ng linya ng isang fraction.
Ito ang nagsasabi kung sa ilang bahagi ng hinati ang isang buo.
