It is the process of designing, establishing and running of an Enterprise for the purpose of profit and sustainability.

उद्यम Entrepreneurs
उद्यमी को फ ्र�च भाषा के श"एंट्रेप्" से �लया गया है िजसका अथर् है"आरं भ करना"।

Entrepreneur is derived from the French verb “ entreprenerd “It means “to undertake”.

जो लोग ऐसे उद्यम को बनाते ह�। उनमे एक व्यावसा�य उद्य को व्यविस् और प्रबं� करने क� �मता व उससे जुड़े जो�खम लेने के साथ लाभ

any of its risks in order to make a profit. In economics, entrepreneurship combined with land, labour, natural resources and capital can
produce profit.

Entrepreneurship is an economic activity, as it involves designing, launching and running a new business enterprises in order to earn the profit, by ensuring
best possible use of resources.

रचनात्मकत और नवोन्मे Creativity and innovation: इसम� नए �वचार� क� खोजना और उन्ह व्यवसा म� लागू

It involves discovering new ideas and implementing it in business. The entrepreneur continuously evaluates current modes of running a business and
identifies new methods and techniques for operating the business more efficiently and effectively.

लाभ Profit: लाभ कामना उद्य�मत का एक मात उद्दे है । यह उद्यम द्वार �कए गए प्रया और जो�खम का प्र�त है ।

The activity of entrepreneurship is undertaken with the sole objective of making the profit. It is also the reward of the efforts made and risk taken by the
entrepreneur.

िस्थरत Sustainability: अ�धकांश सामािजक उद्य कुछ सामािजक मुद् के समाधान के �लए काम कर रहे ह�, ले�कन
उन्ह अपने उद्य को चलने के �लए एक व्यावसा�य मॉडल क� आवश्यकत होती है । इस �लए ऐसी ग�त�व�धय� को
सामािजकउद्य के रू म� प�रभा�षत �कया जाता है । यह एक सामािजक कारन के �लए कायर करते ह� ले�कन आत्म�नभर्र इनका
मुख् उद्दे होता है । most of the social enterprises are working for the resolution of some social issues but they have to be a
business model to sustain their enterprise. So that we define these type of activities as a social entrepreneurship which primarily
work for a social cause but self sustainability is the main aim of that organisation.

जो�खम उठाना Risk Bearing: "जो�खम लेने क� इच्छ" उद्य�मत का सार है िजसके �बना उद्यम सफल नह�ं हो सकता। यह नए
�वचार� और उनके कायार्न्व के कारण होता है । ऐसे �वचार अक्स अ�निश्च होते ह�, और इस�लए इसका प�रणाम सकारात्म और त्व�र हो भी
सकता है या नह�ं।

“Willingness to assume the risk” is the essence of entrepreneurship without which he/she cannot succeed. It occurs due to the creation and
implementation of new ideas. Such ideas are often uncertain, and so the result may or may not be positive and instant.

उद्य�मत एक पा�रिस्थ�तक तंत के तहत संचा�लत होती है िजसे उद्यमशीलत पा�रिस्थ�तक तंत कहा जाता है ।
पा�रिस्थ�त तंत म� सरकार� कायर्क और योजनाएं शा�मल होती ह� जो उद्य�मत, गैर-सरकार� संगठन� को प्रोत्सा
करती ह� और उद्य�मय को सलाहकार सेवाएं प्रद करते ह� तथा ऐसे अन् संगठन जो प्रत या अप्रत रू से

government programs and schemes which encourage entrepreneurship, non-governmental organisations that provide
advisory services to entrepreneurs, and other organisations which promote and support entrepreneurship directly or
