Police: Now, you are here because we want to ask a few questions regarding the murder case of Miss
Sunshine Flores. You might already know what happened, she was pushed off the building by the
murderer that caused her death. Now, we want to know your relationship with her and where were you
during the time she was murdered?
Police: we didn't say that it's you who murdered her. We just want to know some informations about
Miss Sunshine's relationships and her connections for further investigations.
Police: shhh... It's alright, just say everything you know and we will make our way to find the killer.

Scene 8: School
Naomi: *nakangiti* Good morning, Sunshine!
Naomi: Just listen to what we tell you, then everything will be alright.
EXTRA SCENE
Naomi: hi there sunshine, you look busy, is that for our literature assignment?
Naomi: are you dumb? Can't you read the room? You...owe us. Now, give us your assignment.
Sunshine: no! It's an essay, you can't copy it. You should do it on your own.
Sunshine: I can help you instead. I can teach you, tutor for free. This is not right - taking one's hardword
for your own good?
Naomi: are you lecturing us? You think you are better?
Sunshine: no! No I don't think I am better. I just want this to stop, I want to help the three of you
instead. We start a group study and I will guide you with the subjects you find difficult
Sunshine: of course not! We have our own strengths and weaknesses, but we can help each other and
support one another instead of bullying them.
Friend 2: then, help us by giving us what we want, or we will reveal ypur weakness
Sunshine: naomi!
Naomi: You really want us to post your video in social media? Do you want everyone to know that your
father is a mess?
Naomi: of course you don't, right? Now, write our assignment. Thank you!
EXTRA SCENE
Groupmate 2: we totally failed there! Ma'am Cruz was really pissed off.
Gm1: sorry? You literally ruined our project by not doing your part!
Gm2: what is happening to you? You are the top 1 of our class so we thought we will not have any
problems with you.
Gm1: forgot? Really? Ok, we didn't know that you are so irresponsible.
Gm1: you know what? Maybe it's better if we ask ma'am cruz for a favor
Gm2: yes! Reconsider our groupings. I would want to go solo instead of having you as my groupmate
Gm1: I agree...let's go

Papers/Folders
Naomi: Thanks for the research capstone. Don't forget to make our PowerPoint for tomorrow's
presentation, okay?
Sunshine: Naomi, I still need to do my own research. Can you just do your presentation?
Naomi: Oh, I see. Should we just upload the video then?
Sunshine: Naomi, this is too much! I have been doing all your school works and been following what you
want!
Naomi: Didn't you put yourself on this, Sunshine? You made the choice.
Sunshine: You will remember this day, Naomi...
Police: Now, you are here because we want to ask a few questions regarding the murder case of Miss
Sunshine Flores. You might already know what happened, she was pushed off the building by the
murderer that caused her death. Now, we want to know your relationship with her and where were you
during the time she was murdered?
Teacher: I am Miss Flores' adviser. I was at the faculty when the incident happened.
Teacher: She is a smart student, a bright one. She is actually the top of our class. She always aces her
exams and projects. She's good... but lately, I have noticed something different from her.
EXTRA SCENE
silang kausapin.)
(Lalapit si Shine.)
(Ipapakita rito na nakatayo sina Naomi at Shine sa harap nung teacher habang sabay silang kinakausap.
(Iaabot ni Naomi 'yung paper niya. Ichi-check 'yon nung teacher for a few seconds.)
TEACHER: Very well, Naomi. This is impressive. Your works have improved a lot compared from the
previous one.
NAOMI: Thank you so much, Ma'am. This is all because of your guidance.
TEACHER: Actually, no. I barely changed a thing here in your thesis. It's all yours. To be honest, I never
knew you would be this great. You're amazing, Naomi.
NAOMI: I'm flattered, Ma'am. Thank you very much.
Teacher: Have you heard what I told Naomi a while ago, Sunshine?
Teacher: That is how you perfrom before. You submit your activities on time and your work is excellent.
Ipapakita ulit for a few seconds na ichini-check nung teacher 'yung research ni Sunhine tapos maya-
maya kukunot na 'yung noo at magagalit.)
Teacher: Sunshine, what's this? Your review of related literatures are all outdated! My gosh! Is this your
first time to conduct a research?
Teacher: And your format! What happened? The spacing is not right! The paragraphs are not justified!
Sunshine, the format is just the basics of a research! I can't believe you got it wrong!
Teacher: Please organize the way you explain the gaps in your study. It is so confusing!
Teacher: This is so difficult. It feels like I am checking an output of a first time researcher.
Teacher: Your performance is incomparable. I wonder what happened and why are you being like this?
Sunshine: I don't know what's wrong, Ma'am... I don't know what should I do...
Teacher: You don't know what's wrong? Sunshine, you are performing like a student begging just to pass
the semester! And you don't know what's wrong? You don't know what to do?
Shine: I'm sorry, Ma'am. I'm really sorry. It's just that I'm going through something that's very difficult
for me to handle
Teacher: You are the best student that we have here, but now, it seems like you are only getting second.
Teacher: We both know that Naomi is not an achiever before. But now, I can see that she is really trying
her best. I guess, hardwork really pays off, huh?
EXTRA SCENE
(Ie-emphasize 'yung reaksyon nung teacher (Mariane) na parang gulat at first at the same time,
disappointed.)
Teacher: Actually, she was. She was indeed a great student. I just don't know what's happening to her
performances right now.
New teacher: Yes. It's the reason why I actually came here right now. I want to know if you're aware of
what's happening to her. She has been slacking in the past few weeks.
Teacher: *rolls eyes* Yes, she is. I'm not sure what's happening to her but for sure, it's nothing serious.
Maybe she's just pressured and she just wants to get an easy life. You know, she's aware that she's
about to graduate as a cum laude so she's taking everything so easy.
New teacher: Oh, I see. Maybe you're right. Sumshine is really far from how she excels in class before. I
wonder who will be our representative...
Teacher: Yes. Yes. That girl is really acing all her outputs and performances right now!
New teacher: She always fails her activities before, right? I'm sorry to say this but, I really thought she is
just another slacker.
Teacher: Yes, that is what I thought before too. But you'll be surprised with all of her performances right
now. I never knew she could be this great!
New teacher: Really? If that's the case, I think I have to talk to her and see if she's really fit for the
competition.
Teacher (Mariane): This is Naomi Perez, Ma'am. I'm sure you know her.
New teacher: Yes, I do.
Teacher: She's the one I recommend for the contest you're talking about. This girl's academic
performance today is impressive!
New teacher: Then I think she's the best fit to be the representative, huh?
Teacher: Yes, she is. If only Sunshine excels like before, I would have recommended her but...
nevermind. What matters the most is that you're here, Naomi. Will you do your best?
Naomi: Of course, Ma'am. All for our school.
New teacher: That's great. I'll expect a lot from you, Naomi!
Teacher: Continue to strive for the best. Don't be like any other students who are only good at the
beginning, okay?
New teacher: Like...?
Teacher: Like the top of my class who is now getting to the bottom?
Props:
Phone
Huh? Consultation? There's no need for that. She's just going through some phase, maybe a rebel phase.
I just need to give her an ultimatum and she will be back from her senses again.
(Kinakausap nung teacher si Sunshine. Nakayuko si Sunshine at medyo galit 'yung teacher.)
Teacher: I don't know what's happening to you, Miss Flores. This seems very unlikely of you.
Teacher: You're sorry? That was what you told me a few weeks ago too, but your performance remained
the same - very poor and far from how you do before.
Teacher: And this *iaangat 'yung folder* You are the top of the class yet you can't conduct a research
properly?
Sunshine: I am truly sorry, Ma'am. If you give me more extension, I promise to edit my thesis...
Teacher: No more extension, Miss Flores. I've had enough. I think we were so wrong about you being so
smart and responsible. If you continue to be like this, you might as well as get a dropping form in the
office.
Sunshine: I can't ma'am! My family relies on me. I have to graduate. I have to work for my family.
Teacher: Then, why don't you do your best? If you are so concern about graduating prove it. I am sorry,
but every student have their own struggles, but they are making progress. Look at Naomi, she was not
that smart, but managed to have the best research proposal, and you? You are failing. Get yourself
together. If this happens again, you will get a failed grade and your scholarship will be gone.
Mother: I am Mrs. Flores, Dalisay Flores, and here is my husband, Francis Flores.
Police: Now, you are here because we want to ask a few questions regarding the murder case of Miss
Sunshine Flores. You might already know what happened, she was pushed off the building by the
murderer that caused her death. Now, we want to know your relationship with her and where were you
during the time she was murdered?
Mother: we're the parents of Sunshine. We have no clue what happened to our daughter. She's patient
and caring to everyone. I can't imagine who would do this to her.
Father: but...but I hurt our daughter...I was drunk. Maybe...maybe I am the one who pushed her when I
am under the influence of alcohol...maybe I killed my daughter.
Props/costumes:
•casual na damit
•uniform
•table and chairs
•kitchen set-up
•bote ng alak
Father: Yes! Maybe it's better if I just abandon this family! What good do you bring me? Nothing!
Mother: Please! Don't! How about your two daughters?! What will happen to us?!
Sunshine: And we don't care about you too! Just leave us! You bring nothing but trouble for us! You
don't know anything but to gamble and drink. You don't even have a job, you keep on using our little
savings for your vices!
Father: Watch your mouth! I am your father and you're just my child. How dare you talk like that to me?
You don't even have anything to contribute to this family!
Sunshine: It is your responsibility! Why would you compare yourself to me? You are the father of this
family, but all you want to do is waste money on gambling and drinking.
Sunshine: That good for nothing, did he stole your money for your maintenance?
EXTRA SCENE
(Kakaripas ng takbo
Doctor: well, she was brought here by a concern civilian who happened to see her collapsed in the
market. We ran an examination afterwards.
Sunshine: I told her she can't work...she have to take her maintenance because of her heart condition.
Doctor: yes, that is a huge factor, does she take her medicines regularly?
(Mapapayuko si sunshine)
Doctor: hmm... i see... You should tell your father or other relatives about your mother's situation. She
needs to be monitored.
Doctor: that depends. Make sure that she will take her maintenance regularly without skip and let her
have ample rest.
Doctor: yes, after she wake up she can be discharged, just get the total bill at the reception area of the
hospital.
EXTRA SCENE
Sunshine: Pa where are you? Huh? What? Are you drunk again? I need money, mom is at the hospital,
you don't even know? She collapsed at the market trying to make a living while you are just drinking
early in the morning.
Come home now pa. Mama needs you, we need you right now. We need money to get her out of the
hospital. Don't pretend! I know that you took mom's money for her maintenance. Please pa! We badly
need you!
Police/investigator: After my one-on-one interview with all of you, I and my team were able to deduce
the right answer tas o whom might be the killer of Ms. Sunshine Flores... And that is... You
Scene 16: Eskinita ulit
Detective (voice over): that day was supposed to be any other day. She's going home from school,
however she's anxious about something. She walked home but had an anxiety attack from all the
problems that were slowly eating her away.
She ran back to her school while crying. She went to the tallest building and jumped off - resulting to her
death.
Detective (voice over): remember that you are all free from any consequences under the law. You are
not the killer, yet...you should know more than anyone whose hands pushed her that day.
May you remember the murder case of Sunshine and how your little actions can create a huge impact to
someone, how powerful your words are, and how something you can't see might be killing somebody
else.
