 Change Management is a method by

which changes to the project like changing
the scope, deliverables, time Schedule or
resources are formally defined, evaluated
and approved prior to implementation.
‫ إدارة التغيير هي طريقة يتم من خاللها تحديد التغييرات التي يتم‬
‫إجراؤها على املشروع مثل تغيير النطاق أو التسليمات أو الجدول‬
ً ‫الزمني أو املوارد "ر‬

 Change management plan is used to describe the process

for dealing with changes within the project, it contains:
 How changes are requested
 What information will be captured by the change request and
who can generate such a request
 Who the change request is submitted to and the process that will
follow upon submission
 The process for the change control board that will be required to
evaluate the change
 Roles and responsibilities of the membership of the change
control board
 Guidance for the change control board on how to deal with
change requests and what criteria to use to assess each change
request

 The configuration management plan defines those items that
are configurable, those items that are require formal change
control, & the process for controlling changes to such items,
it contains:
 What all project items are configurable (Configurable Items CIs)?
 Which all items (i.e. Scope Statement, Drawings) needs, formal
change control?
 What could be the process of controlling changes to these
items?
 A tool to manage Configurable Items,
 A versioning system. i.e. a Document Version will have two
segments like a1, a2, b1, .b2. The first segment will
characterize the product; the second will characterize
deliverable, etc
