Embroidery Thread -usually coded with numbers
Thimble -protect fingers from getting pricked
Pin cushion -holds pins/needles when not in use
Embroidery marker -used for drawing designs
Transfer pencil -used hot iron transfer design
Threader -makes the threading easier
Dressmaker’s carbon paper -used to transfer design and cloth
Fabric -cloth that is typically produced by weaving textile fiber
Masking tape -use to bind cages of the fabric

Back Stitch -use to produce thin line of stitches
Chain stitch -chain-like pattern
Satin Stitch -thread are stitch closely
Stem Stitch -frequently used in surface embroidery

Blanket Stitch -used to create edging
Cretan Stitch -used as a filling stitch
Slip Stitch -used to stitch for outlining
Feather Stitch -made up of open looped stitches
Flat Stich -usually worked with pound shape
French Knot Stitch -looping the thread 2 or more times
