VI. REFLECTIONS Reflect on your teaching and assess yourself as a teacher. Think about your student’s progress this week. What works? What else needs to be done to help the students learn?
Identify what help your instructional supervisors can provide for you so when you meet them, you can ask them relevant questions.
Annotation:
I employed constructivist teaching because this approach will let learners learn
with their beliefs. Learning is actively involved in the process of meaning and
knowledge construction rather than passively receiving information. With these, I can
create a collaborative problem-solving environment where my students become
active participants in their own learning.
The learners communicate with each other, and share their understandings, feelings, knowledge and
experience to come up with new knowledge. The teacher is just a facilitator, and the learners are
encouraged to interact, exchange views and experiences and construct meaning and knowledge that is
based on their needs but with teachers supervision.
