VII. RATIONALE

"Harmony and Honor" marks a significant milestone for SHOFAR as we welcome new
members into our vibrant community of musicians and performers. This event combines an
informative orientation session with an inspiring oath-taking ceremony, celebrating the spirit of
camaraderie, dedication, and artistic excellence that defines our marching band and majorette
organization.

VIII. OBJECTIVES:

Generally, this aims to:

1. Provide opportunity for the SHOFAR to be introduced among the students at
the university wide setting.
2. Enforce and fulfill the objectives of SHOFAR organization.
3. Create an engagement and produce an effective social relationships with the
students

IX. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

On October 21, 2023, the band and majorette organization (SHOFAR) will start the
orientation and oath-taking ceremony at 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at ParSU Gymnasium. The
SHOFAR will meet the members and introduce the organization as well as its objectives. During
the event, ParSU band and majorette will also showcase and highlight their talents and their
harmonious performance, demonstrating to the University what they got. The students can expect
an informative day as this activity will give them the opportunity to know the future plans and
involvement of the SHOFAR organization, letting them to be familiarize with the band and
majorettes organization (SHOFAR). The events are as follows:

XI. EXPECTED OUTPUT

By successfully introducing the SHOFAR, the activity will increase recognition and
involvement. The orientation and oath-taking effectively affirmed the SHOFAR’S official and
fundamental goals and visions, fostering commitment and discipline. The foundation for a more
cooperative and effective organization was laid by the deep personal and organizational l ties it
promoted among the members.
