Тематика ситуативного спілкування: speaking describing places

Мовний інвентар: Picturesque, scenic, vibrant, lush, urban, diverse, enormous, tiny,
cozy, energetic, peaceful, welcoming, mysterious.
Мета уроку (як намір вчителя):
 допомогти учням розвинути навички говоріння англійською мовою;
 надати учням можливість практикувати використання лексики та
граматики, пов'язаної з темою "Опис місць";
 розширити кругозір учнів та познайомити їх з новими місцями та
культурами;
 розвивати творчі здібності учнів та їхню здатність до уявлення;
 формувати в учнів позитивне ставлення до вивчення англійської мови;

Наприкінці уроку учень:

 розвиває навички говоріння англійської мови;

 практикує викоричтання лексики та граматики;
 розширює кругозір учнів та знайомиться з новими місцями та культурами;
 розвиває творчі здібності та здатність до уявлень;
 формує позитивне ставленн до вивчення англійської мови;

2. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу - 3 хв.;
3. Оголошення теми та мети уроку - 1 хв.;
ІІ. Основна частина:
1. Робота в парах - 17 хв.;
2. Вивчення та застосування нової лексики - 10 хв.;
3. Колективне обговорення теми- 9 хв.;
ІІІ. Заключна частина уроку:
1. Рефлексія - 2 хв.;
2. Виставлення оцінок - 1 хв.;
3. Повідомлення та пояснення домашнього завдання - 2 хв.

Хід уроку:
І. Початок уроку:
1. Привітання та організація класу:
T: Good morning, my dear students! Hopefully nobody has problems with the Internet
and we can work freely with cameras on. You’ve got 30 seconds to get ready so that I
could see and hear everybody.
2. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу: What is your favorite room in your house?
What is the most beautiful place you have ever seen? Describe a place you have never
been, but would like to visit.

Оголошення теми та мети уроку: learn about dialogue and develop skills for
building monologue

ІІ. Основна частина:

Task 1. Show the students pictures of different places.
T: please describe each place in detail.
Task 2. Look, here we have new vocabulary to describe different places. You can use
them in your description. Please write them down.
Picturesque, scenic, vibrant, lush, urban, diverse, enormous, tiny, cozy, energetic,
peaceful, welcoming, mysterious.

Task 3. Divide the students into pairs. Give each pair a picture of a place that they have
not seen before. Instruct the students to take turns describing the place to their partner.
The partner should listen carefully and ask questions if necessary. After each pair has
finished describing their place, switch the pictures and have them repeat the activity.

Task 4. Ask the students to write a short paragraph describing a place that they know
well.Encourage the students to use the vocabulary and grammar that they have learned
in the lesson.
Here are an example hoe to write short paragraph.
(I have many favorite places, but my absolute favorite is the park near my house. It's a
beautiful place with a lot of things to do.The park has a big playground with swings,
slides, and a climbing structure. I love to play on the playground with my friends. There
are also a lot of trees in the park, which provides shade from the sun. I love to sit under
the trees and read a book.The park is my favorite place because it's a place where I can
have fun and relax. It's also a place where I can spend time with my loved ones.)

ІІІ. Заключна частина уроку:

1. Рефлексія:
T: We’ve discussed the topic of describing places and today you have learned how to
speak about them. What was interesting for you? What new did you find out?
Student 1: I didn’t know a lot about these places. But now I think that it very interesting.
A lot of new words we had.
Student 2: I’d love to do more exersices with my classmates.
По черзі кожен учень має відповісти, що нового або цікавого він знайшов для себе
на уроці. Вчитель має називати тих, хто відповідає, щоб не було зайвого галасу
та шуму.
2. Виставлення оцінок:
T: Some of you were very active today and despite the way of our work participated in
all the activities and followed the instructions.
Also, a lot of interesting and fresh ideas we could hear from…
But … and … were rather absent. You can work much better, next time I’ll be waiting
for you to express yourself.
3. Повідомлення та пояснення домашнього завдання:
T: Your home task is
1. Learn new words by heart
2. Choose a place that you know well, such as your home, school, or neighborhood.
Prepare a short oral presentation about the place. In your presentation, include the
following information:
 The name of the place
 A description of the place
 What you like about the place
 Why the place is special to you
